Today in lecture was ROUGH. I think every Tyler student is experiencing the effects of no sleep. It was a terrible rainy day when all I wanted to do was curl up in my bed and watch the Halloween series over and over again. Eileen Neff came in today to talk to us. She said she was a graduate of Tyler. She studied literature before she studied painting and then finally photography. She explained how she is very influenced by other artists. Much of her work has furniture in it. I didn't get it but it was kinda cool. A lot of her work seemed to target nature. Her work really looked like cut and paste with the computer. She works with the computer now, and her work is quite simple.
